Toast Martinborough has evolved. After three decades of hopping between vineyards, the festival has consolidated into one main hub at The Runholder, perched on the edge of town, running from midday to 6:00pm on Saturday 14 November.
You still get the top-tier local pourings and regional food offerings, capped off with Sir Dave Dobbyn closing out the afternoon.
The Day-Trip Game Plan
The Event Bus
Official return festival buses run straight from Wellington (and regional stops across Masterton, Carterton, and Greytown) directly to The Runholder. If you haven't booked your seat on iTICKET yet, do it today.
Train + Local Shuttle
Catch the Wairarapa line train from Wellington Station to Featherston. From Featherston station, local shuttles connect passengers for the quick 20-minute drive to Martinborough.

Missed Out on Tickets?
If you don't have a ticket, unfortunately there are no options for door sales. Instead, pencil in these upcoming options:
Regular Vineyard Runs: Martinborough’s cellar doors are open every weekend without the crowd surcharge or sell-out stress.
Tora Bombora (22–24 January 2027): The coastal music and arts festival past Martinborough on the Tora Coast.
