Ollie Bomann’s ‘HIP-HOP NIGHTS’

According to Holly Hobbs, “there’s no difference between a rapper, a jazz musician, or a rhythm and blues artist from the 1950s. It is all a logical continuum in the trajectory of New Orleans music.” New Orleans is usually associated with jazz music, but hip-hop in the Crescent City also offers a unique perspective into the African roots of New Orleans culture and history.

Bassist Ollie Bomann brings a night of classic hip hop at Rogue on May 7th. High-intensity jams and fresh beats to keep you head-banging all night long.

Free entry.

Private: Rogue & Vagabond

A great little bar with an outlook over Glover Park. No TVs, just craft beer, live music, pizza and a relaxed environment.
