Volunteer at the Ultimate Street Party – Courtenay Carnival
We need a team to make this happen and we want you to join! Come join the behind the scenes good times, meet some awesome people and help make the city hum! Many roles are up for grab, check them out below and email us vitalisewellington@gmail.com if you’re keen.
Provides event info, directions, lost and found, crowd queries etc.
Volunteer Coordinator (Paid) – Recruits, trains and rosters volunteers; handles briefings (including H&S Briefing) , check-ins, uniforms and presentation, welfare etc.
Crowd Flow Assistants 4 – 6 x volunteers. 7pm – 1am.
Guides pedestrians, manages any queues, reports issues to security, assists in public pickup/drop off zone.
Sustainability 2 x volunteers. 1pm – 5pm; 5pm – 9pm; 9pm – 1am
Works with the WM team, Monitors bins and supports Eco team with messaging and what goes where.
Event Set Up 4 x volunteers. 11am – 3pm.
Assists with minor set up. Signage, decorations, small furniture etc.
Event Pack Down 2 – 4 x volunteers. 12am – 4am. Assists with taking down and packing up signage, decorations, small furniture, office equipment etc.
Runners 2 x volunteers. 10am – 1am. Nice to have. Contingency, extra hands where needed, available to run errands (no licence required).
Info / Lost and Found 2 – 3 volunteers. 1pm – 5pm, 5pm – 9pm, 9pm – 2am.
